Part A: Parent / legal guardian consent
Completed and signed by the parent or legal guardian of an athlete under 18. Consent must be granted, and identity verified, before the athlete’s account is activated.

1Parent / legal guardian authority

The person granting consent affirms they are the parent or legal guardian of the athlete and have the legal authority to grant the permissions in this agreement. You confirm that no other person's consent is required, or that you have obtained it, and that you are not restricted by any court order or custody arrangement from authorizing this account. The Company requires a valid government-issued identification to verify your identity and authority; this document is used only for verification, is never shown on the athlete's public profile, and is handled under the safeguards in the Privacy Policy. Providing false information about your identity or authority may void this consent and result in removal of the athlete's profile. By signing this agreement you also agree, in your own capacity and on behalf of the athlete, to the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Copyright and Content Removal Policy, the NIL Consent and Authorization Agreement, and the Community Guidelines, including the dispute-resolution, class-action-waiver, and indemnification provisions of the Terms of Service. You agree to be responsible for the athlete's compliance with those documents and for any indemnification obligation arising from content you or the athlete uploads.

2Athlete account

Consent authorizes creation of the athlete's profile and the collection, display, and use of the athletic, academic, and biographical information the guardian approves, such as sport, position, class year, measurables, statistics, GPA, and highlight media. You control the scope of what is collected and displayed, and sensitive details, including contact information, transcript, and precise academic records, remain private by default until you or the athlete choose to share them with a specific program. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, may review and correct it at any time, and acknowledge that only statistics entered by verified school representatives carry the Official badge. This authorization is limited to the uses you select in this agreement and is governed by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

3Media permission

The guardian selects whether photographs, video, highlight clips, audio, and other media of the minor may be displayed on the Platform, in recruiting profiles, and in promotional material: those selections, and the full scope of the name, image, and likeness license, are made in the separate NIL Consent and Authorization Agreement, which must be completed before the athlete's profile is published. The guardian confirms that any media the family uploads does not infringe another party's rights and does not feature another minor as a primary subject without that minor's parent or legal guardian's consent. Media of an interscholastic athletic event may include other participants who appear incidentally during ordinary game action. If another participant, or that participant's parent or guardian, objects to media your family uploaded, the Company will handle the objection under the Privacy and likeness removal process in the Copyright and Content Removal Policy, and you agree to cooperate with that process and to remove the media if the Company determines removal is warranted. Media authorized here is licensed to the Company as described in the Terms of Service and Copyright Policy; the family retains ownership of media it creates. The Company does not sell a minor's image or likeness, and the guardian may withdraw or narrow media permission at any time, after which the affected media is removed from recruiting visibility subject to a reasonable processing period and any records required by law.

4Recruiting communication

The guardian authorizes whether verified college programs may view the athlete's recruiting-visible profile and request introductions through the Platform, and this authorization can be granted, narrowed, or revoked at any time. When enabled, a college program sees the athlete's verified performance information; contact details, transcript, and academic records remain private until the guardian or athlete accepts a connection with that specific program. The Company does not guarantee offers, scholarships, roster spots, or responses, is not a party to any recruiting relationship, and provides no recruiting or eligibility advice. The guardian and athlete are responsible for following the recruiting, contact-period, and eligibility rules that apply to the athlete's sport, class year, and division, and the guardian retains full oversight of which programs may engage with the minor.

5Messaging

Users may not solicit private contact information from a minor or attempt to move a minor's communications off-Platform; doing so may result in removal from the Platform.

6Verification

Varsity Engine may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of the person granting consent, including requiring a valid government-issued identification and confirming the relationship to the athlete. This verification protects the minor by helping ensure that only a true parent or legal guardian can authorize an account. Identity documents are used solely for verification and record-keeping, are never displayed on the athlete's public profile, and are handled under the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy. An athlete under 18 cannot activate an account until the guardian has read this agreement, signed electronically, and completed identity verification. The Company may decline, pause, or revoke consent if it cannot verify identity or authority, or if it has reason to believe the information provided is inaccurate, and may re-verify at any time.

7Withdrawal of consent

A parent or legal guardian may withdraw consent in writing at any time by contacting [email protected] or using the tools in the account. On withdrawal, the athlete's profile is removed from recruiting visibility and the authorized NIL and media uses cease (NIL and media permissions specifically are withdrawn through the NIL Consent and Authorization Agreement), subject to a reasonable processing period and to records the Company is required to keep by law. Withdrawal is not retroactive: it does not undo uses that already occurred while consent was active, and copies may remain in backups or where retention is legally required. You may also narrow consent rather than withdraw it entirely, for example by turning off a specific media or recruiting permission. Withdrawing consent may deactivate the athlete's account or limit features, and consent automatically ends when the athlete turns 18 and assumes control of their own authorization. Questions about withdrawal or data deletion can be directed to [email protected].

8Electronic signature

Typing your full legal name and submitting the consent flow constitutes a legally binding electronic signature. Parent / guardian full legal name Date Your signature will appear here I am the parent or legal guardian and I agree that typing my name is my electronic signature.

Part B: Athlete participation
Accepted by the athlete. For an athlete under 18, acknowledged together with the parent or legal guardian named in Part A.

9Eligibility

You must provide accurate eligibility information, including your school, sport, graduation year, and date of birth. You must be at least 14 years old to hold an account, and the Platform does not create identifiable profiles for athletes under 14. Athletes under 18 may participate only after a parent or legal guardian completes the guardian consent process and identity verification. You are responsible for complying with the eligibility, amateurism, and transfer rules of your school, your athletic association, and, where applicable, the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA.

10Code of conduct

You agree to represent yourself, your family, your team, and your school with honesty and good sportsmanship. You will treat other athletes, coaches, officials, staff, and fans with respect, and will not engage in harassment, discrimination, threats, hazing, or demeaning behavior. Conduct on the Platform is also governed by the Community Guidelines, and off-Platform conduct that affects the safety or integrity of the community may be considered.

11Profile accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile, including stats, measurables, academic details, and biographical information. Athletes cannot make edits or changes to their account, profile, or messaging on their own; every change you request is held for review and does not go live until a parent or legal guardian, coach, or school administrator approves it. Athletes may not enter, edit, or request changes to statistics at all. Only statistics entered by verified school representatives carry the Official badge, and this keeps the board accurate and fair for every athlete. Knowingly submitting false or misleading information may result in removal of content, loss of verification, or account termination.

12Approval and review process

Your account is supervised. Any change you make to your account, profile, media, or messaging is submitted as a request and enters a review queue rather than taking effect immediately. Each request is routed to the appropriate approver based on what is being changed: a parent or legal guardian reviews contact information, photos and bio, privacy settings, messages and replies, and any name, image, and likeness activity; a coach reviews positions, measurements, verified testing, team and roster details, and film; and a school administrator reviews academics, transcript, grade, enrollment, and eligibility. Some changes, such as NIL activity, require more than one approver, and the change goes live only after every required approver has signed off. An approver may approve or decline a request, and a declined request does not change your live profile. Every request, approval, and decline is recorded in an activity log visible to you and your guardian, with the name of the approver and the date. You may withdraw a pending request or send a reminder to an approver, but you cannot approve your own requests, and you cannot enter or edit statistics under any circumstance. This review process exists to protect minor safety and account security, to keep recruiting communications on the record, and to maintain accuracy and fairness for every athlete on the Platform.

13Media uploads

You confirm that you hold all rights and permissions necessary for any photo, video, highlight clip, or audio you upload, and that your uploads comply with the Copyright Policy. Uploads are submitted for review and are held in a pending state until an approver releases them; they are not published to your live profile automatically. Do not upload media that features another individual as a primary subject, particularly a minor, without appropriate consent from that person or their parent or guardian. This does not apply to individuals who appear incidentally in footage of an interscholastic athletic event, for example opposing players or teammates captured during ordinary game action, provided the footage does not single out, target, or focus on them in a way that is invasive, demeaning, or exploitative. Do not upload media that contains unlicensed music or other third-party content you do not have the right to use, or that is defamatory or makes false or misleading statements about any individual or organization. If the Company receives a request from a third party claiming that media you uploaded is defamatory, infringing, or otherwise violates their rights, the Company may remove or restrict access to that media pending review, and you agree to cooperate with the review and to remove the media if the Company determines removal is warranted. If someone contacts you directly about media you posted, report it to the Company through the Platform's reporting tools rather than negotiating with them yourself. You retain ownership of media you create and grant the license described in the Terms of Service.

14Recruiting

Varsity Engine helps you be discovered by college programs but does not guarantee offers, scholarships, roster spots, or responses from any coach, and is not an agent, advisor, scout, or representative acting on your behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you share, for conducting yourself professionally in all communications, and for following the recruiting, contact-period, dead-period, official- and unofficial-visit, and amateurism rules that apply to your sport, class year, and division. Do not accept improper benefits, share false information, or agree to move recruiting conversations to private channels. Every introduction is recorded and time-stamped for compliance and safety, and you should independently verify any offer, financial-aid term, or commitment before relying on it. Recruiting decisions and outcomes rest solely with you, your family, and the institutions involved.

15Safety

Protect your personal contact information and share it only with programs you choose to connect with. Report any inappropriate, abusive, threatening, or suspicious contact through the Platform's reporting tools, and do not respond to requests to move a conversation to private channels that remove Platform safeguards. If you are under 18, keep your parent or guardian informed of recruiting communications; guardians retain oversight of a minor's account and messaging. Never share another person's private information, and be thoughtful about what you post, since profile content and media may be visible to college programs, media, and the public. If you ever feel unsafe or believe someone is misrepresenting their identity, stop communicating and contact the Company and, where appropriate, a trusted adult or law enforcement. The Company may act on safety reports, including removing content or accounts, but is not responsible for the off-Platform conduct of other users.
If media on the Platform shows you and you do not want it published, you or your parent or guardian may ask the Company to remove it, even if someone else uploaded it and even if the media was recorded at a public event. Requests are handled under the Privacy and likeness removal process in the Copyright and Content Removal Policy. If someone has published an intimate image of you, or an image altered to look like you, report it immediately through the in-Platform report tool or to [email protected]; the Company acts on those reports within 48 hours and you do not need a parent to file the report first.

16Account suspension

Varsity Engine may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, restrict features, or revoke verification if you violate this Agreement, the Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines, or the Copyright Policy, submit inaccurate or fraudulent information, or engage in conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the Platform. Enforcement generally follows the graduated framework published in the Community Guidelines, which begins with a warning for a first violation. Depending on severity, the Company may act with or without prior notice, and may take interim measures, such as hiding a profile, while a report is reviewed. Where appropriate, violations may be reported to your school, your athletic association, or the appropriate authorities. Certain obligations, including accuracy of information, conduct standards, and the licenses you have granted for content already published, survive suspension or termination. If your account is terminated, your right to use the Platform ends immediately, and the Company is not liable for any resulting loss of visibility or recruiting opportunity. If you believe an action was taken in error, you may contact the Company to request review.
